Subjunctive KoL: TenLeafCloverEffects

This is a page to describe the various effects of the 10-leaf clover. If you have the 10-leaf clover in your inventory when entering most areas, a "lucky" adventure will happen rather than the normal one (and then the clover will disappear). According to Jick, these exist for nearly everywhere (though experiments show otherwise). You can prevent this from happening by disassembling ("use") the clover; reassemble it to activate.

Here are the following known areas with lucky adventures:

• The Casino Lemon Party Slot: get a big rock
• The Casino Roulette Wheel (The Luckiest Gambler): get 320 meat
• The Casino Poker Room (A Motor in your Head): get 300 meat, 20 moxie
• Cobb's Knob Outskirts (Knob Goblin Luck): get Knob Goblin Uberpants and 3 moxie
• Cobb's Knob Kitchens (Luck in the Kitchens): get a Knob Kitchen Grab-Bag (which contains a random assortment of objects from the kitchens)
• Cobb's Knob Treasury (Primo Meat Stash): get a dense meat stack
• Cobb's Knob Harem (A Series of Fortunate Events): get 300 meat and Knob Goblin perfume
• Cobb's Knob Laboratory (Believe it or Not): get 3 Knob Goblin superseltzers
• Cobb's Knob Shaft (Junction in the Truncheon): get a choice of 3 cardboard ores (left), 3 styrofoam ores (middle), or 3 bubblewrap ores (right)
• Degrassi Knoll (That's Amore): get a goat cheese pizza, mushroom pizza, or sausage pizza
• Fernswarthy's Tower (I've Gotta Crow): get a disembodied brain and 15 mysticality
• The "Fun" House (The Boxer): get 3 boxes
• Guano Junction (How I Wonder What You're At): get 2 sonar-in-a-biscuit and lose 5 HP
• Guano Junction (What Can You Do?): get 3 baseballs
• It appears that How I Wonder What You're At happens only on your first visit with a clover. All subsequent visits with a clover will yield What Can You Do?
• The Haiku Dungeon (Haiku Dungeon Ruck): get bling-bling
• The Haunted Pantry (It's Your Lucky Day): get 100 meat
• The Hidden Temple (Trapstravaganza): get variable muscle, mysticality, and moxie (depending on your level)
• The Hippy Camp (undisguised) (Batty About Fruit): get a fruit bowl
• The Hippy Camp (in disguise) (A Case of the Baskets): get a fruit basket
• The Icy Peak (Encino Penguin): get a frozen Mob Penguin
• Itznotyerzitz Mine (undisguised) (Either Ore): get linoleum ore, asbestos ore, and chrome ore
• Itznotyerzitz Mine (undisguised) (A Real Gem): get a stone of eXtreme power
• Both of these clover adventures can happen at Itznotyerzitz Mine, but Either Ore appears to be more common.
• The Limerick Dungeon (chap name of Hoon): get a foon
• The Misspelled Cemetary (pre-Cyrpt) (Only Dust and a Plaque): get a smart skull and 15 muscle
• The Misspelled Cemetary (post-Cyrpt) (Rolling the Bones): get a smart skull and disembodied brain
• The Orcish Frat House (undisguised) (Lambda Upsilon Chi Kappa): get a handful of drink tickets
• The Orcish Frat House (in disguise) (Lambda Upsilon Chi Kappa): get a roll of drink tickets
• The Sewer (Sewer Luck!): get your choice of three distinct items from this list: seal-clubbing club, seal tooth, helmet turtle, turtle totem, pasta spoon, ravioli hat, saucepan, spices, disco mask, disco ball, stolen accordion, mariachi pants, and a worthless trinket
• The Sleazy Back Alley (Lucky You, Unlucky Hobo): get 3 ice-cold foties
• South of the Border (Forget Not That I am an Ass): get a pack of chewing gum
• The Spooky Forest (Lucky, Lucky!): get a bowl of Lucky Charms
• Bugbear Pens (Faux Fur Pas): get a bugbear beanie and bugbear bungguard
• The Spooky Gravy Barrow (Stage Fright): get spooky lipstick
• Outskirts of Camp Logging Camp (Best Served Cold): get 3 forest tears
• Camp Logging Camp (Oot to Lunch): get poutine, balaclava baklava, and Blatantly Canadian
• Thugnderdome (Gno More Mr. Gnice Guy): get a Gnomish toolbox
• when using the Elf Farm Raffle Ticket: you win Pagoda Plans
• when using the Skeleton Key in the Perplexing Door: you get an automatic 11

The following areas have no effect: The 8-Bit Realm, Barrel Full of Barrels, The Bat Hole Entrance, Batrat and Ratbat Burrow, or Beanbat Chamber; The Casino Goat Party Slot or Pirate Party Slot; Cobb's Knob Menagerie 1, 2, or 3; The Castle in the Clouds in the Sky, The Daily Dungeon, The Deep Fat Friar's Gate, The Dungeons of Doom, The Enormous Greater-Than Sign, The eXtreme Slope, The Hole in the Sky, Itznotyerzitz Mine (in disguise), Lair of the Ninja Snowmen, The Obligatory Pirate's Cove, The Obligatory Pirate's Cove (in disguise), The Palindome, The Penultimate Fantasy Airship, The Typical Tavern, Valley Beyond the Orc Chasm, Whitey's Grove.
