Ford is pulling Jaguar and Land Rover ads from gay media publications due to pressure from the American Family Association. They're going to keep running Volvo ads, though. Blech.
P.S.: No, that Blech was not in response to mentioning Volvo. Have you seen the new Volvos? They actually look kinda cool! Much better than before. They've got that whole "European" look. They're still Volvos though... :)

I can attest to the utter plainness and powerfully boring lines that they indeed help prevent you from many things such as:
getting layed in your car after prom
being pulled over by cops for driving recklessly
being raced at stoplights by mustangs
actually the old 240 DL has quite a modder community, frequently they dump a 5.0L mustang engine in there with a rear end and make 300hp monsters with a definite penchant for safety first.
